Cool concept! I'm not sure if it was intentional, but being able to catch the sword midair and maneuver was lots of fun and honestly was my favorite part. The art was enjoyable to look at as well. As others have mentioned, there are small "softlocks" if the sword gets caught on a wall. I only had this occur during the pillbug boss and the spider boss. Speaking of, I didn't try jumping on the pillbug until watching your walkthrough as I had tried it on the first enemy and saw it didn't work. Some sort of indication that I could jump on it would be nice.
Sword got stuck and i cant reach it after it bounced off on the pillbug boss. Intresting concesp but kind of bare bones.
Good gameplay concept, good visuals and music, just pretty great all around! Had a good time with it.
