Reviews for "Atomic Trail"

The bank event seemed to softlock the game. And, in terms of balance, it's almost always better to take the shorter route given just how many miles it cuts down on. Fun game, though. Keep it up, I enjoy it.

HelperWesley responds:

Thanks for the comment. :)

I'll look in to the bank one soft locking. I had a risk event soft lock me once during development but I couldn't replicate it.... Guess that bug is still hidden in there somewhere.

I was hoping people would take the riskier routes, I tried to balance that by making it so you don't get the scavenge event in dangerous areas and some of the beneficial events won't trigger either.

Really glad you enjoyed it! :)

Fun litlle game. Cleared it on the first try by taking dangerous routes and shortcuts, going to try going the long way. Really enjoy these tyoe of games wish there were more like this.

What does the "Exit" menu option do?

Ok game tough, feel a little ... long, I didn't like the repeating mini games, especially the maze event.

HelperWesley responds:

Lol, thats a remnant from the download version.

I forgot to get rid of those in the browser version. >.<

I've gotten a number of comments about the maze, when I go back and tune up the game in the future I'll have to go in and reduce it's chances of showing up in the event list.

i like the concept but it feels very unfair at times, like some events repeat very often, so the risk events don't have so much sense, the game it's luck with some strategy elements

HelperWesley responds:

Thanks for playing!

That is actually sort of the game I wanted to make.

There is a lot of RNG, so it is technically possible to just get a damage event over and over until you die. (Though that chance is infinitely slim)

I tried to make a game all about doing the best you can with what comes at you, and if you fail it's not on you. Because sometimes despite your best efforts, you're still going to fail at things, and thats life.

Thanks for the comment, have an awesome day. :)

really nice setup
