Even if it is a simple project, it definely is one of my favorite games in this site. Everything, every joke, art, sound, ability, every detail in this is lovely. I'm saving the game in a playlist so i can play again in the future.
Please, make more projects like this

Thank you, I definitely will!

That was pretty damn sweet. It was really fun, although in most places not very challenging. I found I was either whooping everyone or got played with a move that whooped me. Granted I have only played through in one way. I am curious is there any advantage to taking identities other than the obvious mobility? I should think that there would be as it is always offered. If you update this more in the future (I assume this is the Jam version, killer considering 48 hours) maybe give other advantages to different forms (or tell us what they are when we hover over it). I as well got just a black screen for an ending.

Speaking of the ending given every play by the almighty would kill you, why would it bother pressing go (because the only first move is fenrir) instead of ragnarok? Or does it need to have all 3 open? I guess going into it I assumed it was an eternal battle that I either kept pressing fenrir or was defeated, so I immediately tried something else (obviously it wasn't a good day to die).

The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but I didn't find it to become boring. All in all I would recommend a playthrough to anyone in a heartbeat, moreso if there is more to see with it, but I won't know that unless I try again.

Restart only seemed to be important once... and that is when you kill a plane and take something other than it's ID even though you know you are stuck in a corner. I hadn't actually read the instructions, I just assumed r would restart the level . Though it does make me wonder if there is some other use for restarting. I keep telling myself this is a jam game and you probably didn't hide stuff like that.. but still I wonder.

Edit: Wow... I am stupid, I saw the different colors on the attacks and it never even occurred to me it was a predictive system because most of the time I was just checking to see if any of their moves were dangerous to me or something I wanted to steal. It probably said so in the instructions.. Which I brutishly pushed through without actually reading (I skimmed). I got killed by a bloody manhole because it reopened a wound that cut my life to a third, while I still only had a third of my life.. *laughs*

Thanks for the sweet review :) I did have ideas planned for the various forms, such as the coffee machine / cop / army / March making you start each battle with one level of boost, or some forms running away from you if you are bigger and scarier than them but yeah 48h is short and I didn't have time to implement it all. BTW this is version 1.1 where I added the save system and the enemy attack prediction system. Speaking of this, the enemy will always select its highlighted attack, so if go is highlighted then it will select go and if ragnarok is selected then you might want to use fenrir.

Restart was more of a safety tool for me, but also I consider this game to be more like a puzzle game where you figure out the most broken combos along the way and it CAN become unwinnable if you pick the wrong abilities (hello "explode") so the restart key is important.

Epic so far beyond what I expected, a nice surprise. Well done.

Thanks for playing my surprise :)

fave 5 stars (really what I've been looking for)
