This was an interesting blend of deckbuilding and town management with a nice educational spin. One-part Dominion, one part SimCity, and one part Oregon Trail.
The graphics are simple but pleasant, and not too busy. I had a few issues with the supply/demand and pipes/efficiency overlays, but neither were game-breaking. I felt like you needed to keep the supply/demand overlay on for most of the game, but the size of the boxes for each block often led to overlap that covered water carriers/carts/wagons. One potential way to rectify this might be to shrink down the boxes a bit. You could potentially do this by condensing the water supply line with the mood line and using a deficit/surplus supply rather than the standing water supply to each square. One could also include an icon for water carriers, etc. for each block, as I feel like it would be more intuitive dragging them from the square rather than picking up the individual carrier along their route.
The pipe color was sometimes a little difficult to distinguish from the efficiency colors that were used. Not painfully so, but it did take some time getting used to used to. A change in pipe color (dark blue, perhaps) might make it a little easier on the eyes for folks like me who sometimes struggle visually picking out that shade of brown from the green, yellow, orange, and red.
Other than those (very minor) things, I would say that this is one, very excellent game that held my attention for a good sitting. It was a joy to play. Thanks for your hard work and keep it up!
Minor tutorial note: It might help to go into the selling process a bit more. I really didn’t understand how it worked until late in the game when I needed to get a well back for a particular request.
