Reviews for "Waterworks!"

A wonderful, well-crafted and amazing game, huge kudos to your team!

This game is a real gem. Nice idea, nice topic, nice execution.

After several times finally beat impossible difficulty. Some Tips: Every round shift around water carriers to see if you can optimize a little from the new gained population. If you can't give water to everyone (which you soon enough can't, remember it's no difference if one house is say -5 short or -25, so concentrate on keeping as many as possible green, but remove moveable resources from the rest) Time (turns) is your biggest enemy. Time especially the second water upgrade correctly (going from +1 to +2 growth), not too soon, but no too late either. I put all (but one) sump in the center two lines, gave most + water per sump and in late game helps to get some alive) When you have different options what to built next, look on your card pile what you may be able to finish before reshuffling. Don't do the very last upgrades that give +1 to sumps (well I did one, because I had the materials, but don't overdo it, like in other difficulty modes), they cost 3 building materials each, while your deck has only 4, meaning every one needs a full reshuffle, you haven't got the time, go straight for sewers to finish. The sewers cost a lot, at that moment water supply is going to be very difficult, as long you get more money each turn than you pay with blue stars, keep going (you can exchange them almost 1:1 with gift cards). Then in my case at lest, I thought I cannot make it (had all the ingredients, but too much cost for the card) Sell Everything! Gave +250 gold coins, to get 50 blue stars by gifts and finish the game on impossible setting! The "undo last turn" option in game menu can be helpful, especially to see if the sell all move works already, or to undo building projects, once you've seen their effects by starting them and not liking it and going for another first.
