Also, I guess that I'm a not depressed version of you. That is, I know what I'm doing is low quality, but I make a joke out if it and call it my art style to be positive. Not trying to say I'm better than you for that, just saying that you can always turn your limitations into positives.
Playing this game, I felt a very close connection to the situation I am in now. The game itself is simple yet gets more challenging as you play. The commentary offers a look into the mental challenges of creating or working. This project offers a lot of meaning to me and the only reason I rate it this way is due to a short overall play time. Maybe if I come back later in life, I'll be able to find more meaning or reminisce. Thank you for an enjoyable experience with some wonderful self-introspection.
Challenge level felt like game was running a bit fast at times, but I got through it ><
"Story" was nice (few typos in English but whatya gonna do you know?), definitely struck a cord.
Mechanics were cool, and you did a cool job implementing them in conjuction with each other in neat ways.
You are correct about there being an audio bug, after so many sound effects play or something of that nature, it starts to degrade and go out of sync until fading out entirely. But, game saves what level you're on, so I just refreshed the page ><
Overall, good job. I was a bit worried given where I figured the "story" content was going that the gameplay wouldn't hold up, but it was a quite good platformer, and I do love me some platformers.
Me puse a revisar tus trabajos, y creo que a pesar de que Out of Reach me gustó mucho, este es mi favorito. Me da la sensación de estar jugando algún juego antiguo con un amigo en su cuarto, mientras hablamos de nuestros problemas. Una sensación que la verdad extraño mucho desde que empezó la cuarentena y la coronavida. Es un juego simple, pero que me dio una experiencia que no pensaba tener.
Muy buen trabajo bro! 4.5/5 (no le doy las 5 estrellas por el bug del audio, pero igual se le perdona <3)
