Reviews for "Tonight we hunt-The diablada"

I thought it was alright but the controls were a little bit slow; I wish the character moved faster. Also it'd be great if we could jump and shoot the gun at the same time. The environment wasn't very intuitive at times as well; for instance it wasn't always clear if I could jump on something or not.
That said the levels were rather well-designed and the enemies provided the right amount of challenge.
It definitely has the potential to be a great game with some improvements!

Nice game, but are you sure it should be rated E?

I mean, with all the blood and decapitation, I would at least give it a T.

Hell, I'm pretty sure there are less violent games on this site with a higher age rating.

thanks for let me know, i already changed it

This game is pretty okay overall, I was originally going to be a lot more negative due to how awfully laid out the Default controls are but you can toggle them yourself so.. thank you.

Things I liked
- Short, sweet and fun; didn't overstay it's welcome and was difficult but no to an offensive degree.
-All the hand-drawn stuff looks really cool!
-Music was pretty good :)

Things I disliked
- Sound effects. Almost all of them were pretty shitty and usually didn't... "Feel" right especially with the music. The 8-bit sounds and non-8-bit music didn't mesh well.
- Some visuals look buttery smooth with nice lines while others are pixelated and nasty looking. Make it consistent.
- The platforming Physics were pretty bad, they never lead to any unfair deaths but it feels incomplete.

Pretty cool game with a lot of heart to it! Loved the various art and animations in the game, and it was fun going through and battling against the impressive multi-phase boss. Would love to see more and thought this was a great improvement over some of the previous Tonight We Hunt games. Still feels like this game could use some extra time in the oven however: platforming was a little janky in terms of collision detection, and the movement/attacks felt very stiff. Some of the stiffness isn't necessarily bad, such as not being able to air attack, as it looks like the levels were built with that in mind, but it still felt odd to get used to the controls nonetheless. Would love to see more!

needs work, overall a good game but heres what can be improved,
double-tap walk button to sprint

overall faster walk speed

jump and shoot possible at same time

switch the fire jump and slash buttons to j-k-l j and k to slash and shoot and l for jump. held for a longer jump tapped for a quick one

heres a big idea, locate-able upgrades in stages that give you a longer blade or a two slash instead of single (repeat animation relatively simple) or a doubled over mag for the gun. two shots before reloading. overall just some concept ideas,

now for the good, the game overall has good music and is generally fun, has a great style to it and for the most part plays well, the concept is good and its good a good animation sequence to it
