Reviews for "Cactu-Sama"

Short but sweet. Puzzle aren't especially difficult, but I found it challenges the coordination and the ability to adjust to different patterns. Swapping the background music ever 5 levels or so keeps the experience from becoming monotonous. Not too many creators think to do that. The controls are tights, as well. It would seem you put a decent amount of polish into this. Hope to see more from you.

You have really noticed the details, I am glad to receive such solid feedback, and very grateful for the compliments, I hope to keep high expectations with the upcoming projects. I know there is still room for improvement, and I will strive to deliver the best I can! Thank you. :D

Very funny little puzzle game!
The game mechanics are simple, but entertaining. The graphics are nice, too!
The controls are good, I don't see why someone would complain about the controls... arrow keys to move, and buttons to operate blocks.
Would definitely like seeing more levels for this one!

Diemorth responds:

Thanks so much for your words, I'm glad you have adapted well to the controls :} and I'm motivated to create more levels for this game, but there is still a lot that needs to change! :D

nice one!

You maybe can do even better by turning it into a jump-and-run, with exactly the same levels (just the cactus not being a full block height, so he can still jump a bit when in a 1*1 space): You would have movement with wa(s)d, blocks change with hjkl or 7890, and done you are!

Diemorth responds:

It's an interesting idea and I think it changes the way you view and play the game a lot, moving more freely would probably change the way you interact with the puzzles, it's almost a new game ;} Thanks for sharing your view! :D

Very nice, I liked it. Short and sweet. I would perhaps recommend that you add a timer somewhere. Let's say after the first playthrough you say that time trial mode has been unlocked and people can attempt to speedrun the game :D

Diemorth responds:

Wow, this is a great suggestion, I really want to have more time to invest in this project, including I will definitely test it somehow to try to bring it to you in the future! :} Thank you!

I expected the balloon to pop from the cactus spikes. Still a good game though, even if it is a bit short.
