I've been a copier repair technician for close to 25 years. I LOVE this because it's TRUE.

I've experienced this pain occasionally, usually since I rarely print anything at home. But more often at work the program I"m using forgets the default printer and tries to send the job to the WebOfficewhatever printer that doesn't exist and I have to manually select the printer.
Also, the guy needs to reenact the printer scene from Office Space.
