Reviews for "Hexa Path"

nice logic puzzle game, some levels are kinda harder than the others. nice job.

Pretty decent. Good amount amount of variety. Needs an undo button, though; having to restart for every small mistake is aggravating. Otherwise the biggest issue I see is the difficulty being horribly erratic; the hardest level is less than halfway through the game, and the final level is easy to do on your first try. Wouldn't be so bad if you could do levels freely or at least skip some some, but you can't

Like how you have to complete a field. That is addicting.
The difficulty curve makes it very difficult for me. That's why I quit at lvl 4. I liked the new mechanics you used. One thing you could do is make some levels with 1 mechanic, this can be 2, 3 , I like 5. And then make each level with the mechanic more difficult such that it has this difficulty curve: https://featherhatgames.com/105-2/ (red is a new mechanic)

A pretty solid game all around. It's got good presentation and a clear core mechanic that it plays variations on over time. A few notes I had:
- It seems if you end on a multipass tile (numbered) that isn't zero you still win
- The restart is a bit too slow and disengages the player
- Sometimes after going through a teleporter and being stuck it didn't notice I couldn't make any moves
- I actually enjoyed the ebb and flow of difficulty. The fact that each level wasn't more difficult than the last allowed for some 'breather' levels to take the tension off.
- The enemy movement logic wasn't always clear to me. The red enemies move towards the player but sometimes they didn't appear to move to the hex that brought them closest. Sometimes they even moved away from the position I was moving towards despite an adjacent hex being open for them to occupy.
- As a result of the unclear enemy movement I felt I beat level 13 by just guessing.
- My favorite mechanic ended up being the lettered 'sequential' tiles
- The only unenjoyable parts were the levels that had multiple enemies.
- An undo button that reverses the last move would be really nice. On level 25 I'd almost beaten the level and accidentally clicked on the wrong tile making it impossible to finish.

Wow

what a game a very tricky one at that you bring a nice style forward though, it has some hard levels early on maybe adding some life lines to escape certain levels as a bonus, And while this review is comming to a close I know I have mentioned a few things, please dont get discourged because some adjustments can only make things better, but you do have a decent flash entry here, just needs abit more effort, but anyways good stuff. there was some good Highlights of this entry but also needs more other stuff aswell.
