Reviews for "Grave Greed"

Needs a healing mechanic.

Nice sound design and graphics, but stuff like that high quality lightning usually ruins the overall retro experience... And the game is fun to play, but I still feel like I'm just missing something. Like the whole 'spell' system for example. Or a few secret rooms, as there was one in the first world and had that whole crate pushing thing that isn't really used in any other place I checked, and I checked pretty thoroughly. And having one boss with more hp each time feels cheap when there are new enemies each world already, as the boss isn't really as challenging when you fight it for the third time. The ending felt a bit underwhelming, too. But the game was really nice otherwise and it has potential. :)

Thank you very much! I am not going to say I wasn't lazy, but the game was more of an idea than a polished product.

Its fine at the beginning but after a few minutes, it gets boring.
IMPORTANT TIP: You must change the control:
>> to cast a spell you must push CTRL, if you are walking with W and push CTRL you close your tab : / and eventually lose your progress.

So, it was a pretty cool concept and I like the graphics, but that's not enough. the movement is slidy and the gameplay isn't very fun. You can get shot the moment you enter the boss rooms, and all thebosses are the same. The enemies are also not very varied, and taking them out is either a slow grind or very easy. I didn't even use the shield because I played with WASD. Only now do I see that RMB is for that. Can't really fault you for that, except because the description has controls arranged with the mouse separate and listed by controller instead of actual move. I just don't get the speel system, I never managed to cast a single spell. Also, in the end we don't get to see the final treasure, which is a cop-out, and it ends the game, meaning the well guy doesn't een have anything to do. Unless you're supposed to backtrack to him periodically or go to him instead of touching the chest at the end. That secret box puzzle was just annoying because of the slidy movement and the fact you can phase through the box. In fact, the hitboxes are off throughout the whole thing.
Overall, the game just isn't very fun or fair, but you can do better, I'm sure!

I got solf block because my health can't go back. I never knew there was a health bar because of the screen size. Since there was no explain of how the game is played i thought it was sonic ring rules where you lose gold and gain it back and not die but nope. now i only have like 1 hp that makes me die of everything.
