Really good game.
I got soft locked though aha. I left a screen running from an enemy because I was at 1 hp. When I returned to that screen the enemy is standing at the entrance and is infinitely killing me each time I respawn. Despite that little blunder this game is pretty rad.

Not bad at all. I only just realized, after beating it, that there are spells to cast...
I am digging it ( pun intended for those who still use that slang ).
Nice atmosphere and I like the whole concept, but graphics could use some improvement.
It's a bit monotonic...but I enjoyed it. :D
At first the game feels really punishing but after you get to hell you should be good. Here is an xp farm: In rooms with ONLY spiders, once you clear the room and leave, re-enter and the spiders respawn. If you are in hell, go all the way right until you find the room. If you get the ghost player spell and the golden shovel it makes it easier.
