Reviews for "Bloodborne NES"

Good designs and feels like playing the original Castlevania. Controls a little awkward with being A,D for movement and W, K, L for attacks and jumping and some hit box issues in certain platforming areas.

Overall Really well done.

There are some wonky hitboxes, one time I died to cleric beast, I died to one of the falling debris right when he did the ground slash and when I respawned the ground slash hit me.

This little game is pretty cool! The first time I played it I was really frustrated because I didn't know that I could use the gun right away XD. Playing it the second time using the gun was much easier and better. Music is not very special. Graphics are nice. Controls are also nice but there is a delay on the slash attack (I was thinking that it was deliberately made that way.) The corners act a little weird, you have to jump into it. Overall, I enjoyed it and I would be very interested in seeing more levels if you ever make them.

This was a very fun demake. Just like the real game it had me feeling really frustrated at times, nearly quitting at least three times. My issues come from some hit boxes, namely on the weapon. It seemed at least two pixels short. The boxes on the enemies are also a little jankey, just a bit short here and there, at least on the dogs, but sometimes the boxes weren't really clear on the others. The platforming was pretty rough, but that's kind of the style of game, but I feel that it would have done better for it to have a clear jump arc like Castlevania instead of being able to move. I also feel that it would have been better to include either attacking in the air or at least a drop down attack. While you can perform one by clipping off of a block while attacking, I feel it would have been better to implement one and simply have a recovery time after using it. The game felt very solid at any length. The boss was also fantastic; it was simple, but it could have easily killed given the two hit limit, as well as putting in the parry system. Maybe a better indicator for phase 2, but otherwise a good recreation of the boss. Loved the music too, great recreations of the themes, especially the one on the end screen.

It's pretty hard to play, but it's good none the less.
