I hear music but the game doesn't load
It's a great merge between both genres, but the idea of the LD41 theme was to combine 2 incompatible genres. For me, this is not an incompatible mix.
Awesome graphics and good music, by the way.
Fantastic game, some of the floors were made too easy by the slow drift upward the ninja does while waiting to execute the attack, but other than that it ran flawlessly and I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it.
This game has style! Very cool!
Great visuals and it even has fullscreen and a custom cursor. I always appreciate when games have fullscreen and custom cursor, too many developers do sloppy job and forget these things in even otherwise decent games. About visuals I like the many details, the neon beat images in background, the rain, the enemies and their deaths look cool, protagonist and his attacks look cool, well done!
Gameplay is also nice and intresting. Has both a puzzle and action feel to it.
Only two drawbacks:
- Very short game, sadly, would love more of this. Already replayed this game 3 times.
- When you fail a level then there is no text saying "level failed press R to restart" text" There should be. Well as I later learned there is such a text on level 1. But the problem is I read the autor's notes and knew what to do in level 1, so I didn't see that text as I only failed for first time in level 3 or 4. And it looked like game just froze. I didn't know what to do. Refreshed the page. I understood that I must press R only later when I tested deliberately failing level 1 to see if game would freeze on failure again.
Anyway this is a cool game I might even want to replay sometimes, adding to my favorites.
