Reviews for "Oni - Hunter"

The One w/ 2 Tank 2 Blind and 3 Plats is freaking impossible

boumusic responds:

Haha a hard one indeed ;)

Try making a "V" form with your dashes to hit a maximum of enemies with a minimum of markers :p

Seems like a pretty neat time-waster that could definitely become addictive if it was turned into a full-fledged game.

Sadly I have this particular issue in which as soon as the tutorial level tells me to press left click to attack after setting my pattern, nothing happens.

The only 'solution" I found for that was to tab out and then do as instructed after which my character performs the assasinating no sweat. However this makes it so I have to constantly tab out for both jumping to set a pattern and clicking to attack in subsequent levels, completely breaking any flow the game has.

I do not know what exactly is causing this, nobody else has reported a similar issue yet in the comments, but if it helps with any fixing you could do, I'm playing on Chrome with a Windows 8.1 OS.

P.S. Is there any way to kill the armor demons without setting two markers on them?

boumusic responds:

That's quite a weird bug indeed... will try to investigate on it :p

For the armored guys, you can play with the fact that you don't "need" to mark every target, since you can sometimes kill several enemies in a single well-timed dash. However you'll always need to hit these big guys twice !

Incredibly short but incredibly neat. I found it satisfying just to watch the character slowly float into space if you right click but never left click to attack. Definitely see potential for further development.

Very Nice Game
It's short simple and sweet. I like the concept and the art style a lot.
If anything, all I could ask for is a working in-game menu button. I know, it's a really short game and all but it's just one of those things I feel like every game should have no matter how big or small. At the very least, have a button to leave after beating the whole game to go to the main menu.
A timer and/or a fail counter would be really nice, too. For those that would like to speed-run the game and get the best time in a leaderboard and increase that replay value a bit.
All and all, solid game. Hope to see more.

Just perfect! The art is beautiful, the music is just perfect for the game, the gameplay is fantastic and this is one of the better game for the Ludum
