Reviews for "Monster Ambassador: v0.4.1"

No save game? Too bad. My browser crashed and - well - i already played 30 minutes. Would love to see something like this.

Cuttledile responds:

Save game is something we're currently trying to implement, it'll be in a release soon! :)

Please stop it with Z to skip text. It is so annoying cause I only need the mouse for everything else. If I did not need the Z key I could just play this lying down with my mouse in my hand. seriously, it's annoying. Otherwise the game is ok. Obviously the animations still need improvement. But the thing with the Z key still annoys me the most. Just let us skip text with the left mouse button.

Cuttledile responds:

Because of how the game is set up, skipping text with the left mouse button causes other problems- we'd need to decode a large portion of the game to make that happen. We actually did have that ability implemented and had to remove it before releasing this build.
Since it seems to be making you sad, I could make it skippable with the right mouse button, hopefully that fix will help! I'll throw it into the next patch.

Pretty good game.
It's simple, but not mindless. You do have to kinda pick and choose your battles. And you gotta be careful not to fight monsters before you're ready. The art is pretty high quality too, though it'd be cool if there was a little more variation between the genders of the same monsters. That would make it more worth while catching both.

There are two glitches that I found kinda bugged me. One is that the royal slime orgy scene plays automatically every time I go to their kingdom even before I click on them. The other is happens when I talk to the male demon back at camp. His picture gets stuck on the screen and it won't go away no matter what I press until I eventually walk out of camp.

Also, a missed opportunity in my opinion:
The angel race has four arms... they could've been put to a little more creative use in their sex scenes.

Gameplay Suggestion:
Let the health potions be collected into an inventory. Once you get far enough in the game, healing yourself gets to be rather tedious. First you gotta walk through multiple screens, then you gotta click on the merchant, then you gotta buy the health potion, then you gotta back out and then you walk all the way back to the place you're working on. If I had an inventory, I could stock up on a few health potions and then use them when I need them until I eventually run out. Then I wouldn't have to walk back to camp so often.

Additional Mini Suggestion:
Maybe consider adding additional interaction options with the various characters? That way it helps make talking to them feel a little less shallow?

It is quite enjoyable, I really like it. My only issue is the fact that there's just an image with each being and that's kind of it, so I'm thinking adding a couple more or even maybe animations would be an improvement. Keep up the great work, we need more.

I came upon an issue where I talked to the male demon after defeating the angel and now the "You have done surprisingly well. For a mortal." text plus picture doesn't go away. I can still click to talk to other people at the pond, but the text and picture are layered above other scenes. I could not even click the arrow to leave the pond area.

Luckily after clicking around a few more times through various menus (talking to angel and giving her money, clicking through settings, etc.), I was finally able to leave the pond area and the camp. When going to the forest the talking demon picture went away.

The game looked quite promising before I encountered this bug.
