Very nice
Standing atop the castle wall, the captain of the guard readies his men, the time of peace has ended, and war is upon them.
He calls to his men to ready the arrows as the goblins below cry their war cries and give shouts of bloodlust.
"We stand here, in defiance, for many years we have been hounded by these scourge! No more! Let not a single arrow fly from your bows until my signal... once given, let not a single arrow remain within these walls!" he shouted, waves of cheers spread throughout the men, a wildfire of courage and hope spread faster than any plague, and destroyed any thought of fear.
Lightning illuminated the night sky once more, the goblins had set foward in a rush, racing towards the castle walls. The goblins did not understand the language of men, but the sound of the hundreds of men atop of the castle wall certainly shook their will, and even within the biggest of goblins, fear had been instilled.
"FIRE!" Came a cry from atop the stone wall, one of the few words the goblins understood, staring up to watch the arrows fall, many goblins were sure their lightning fast reflexes would save them. Many realized their folly to late, for even while the lightning illuminated the dark night, how could one see through the wall of arrows, one to make the dark skies?
