Reviews for "Goat in The Cave"

music is good, the controls are fine, and the level design is not the best but it's kinda fine. Some of the cons:

-Level select don't work it seems, at least for me
-Wish more creative levels or new obstacles because sometimes is the same after you learn how to dodge the spikes
-game lag sometimes
-Plataform waiting in sometimes can ruin the experience, i almost did get bored by this
-I can't see the level now because i can't go to the levels belows 30, but i remember there was a level with 2 spikes and the ceilling too close and had a hole, it's hard to jump that, if i remember i only get through because i did land on the edge of the spike and it didn't get hurt

I beat the game.
Where is the end?

no new mechanic, kind of just Mario without enemies. Add an original mechanic and that combined with the great graphics would be a winner.

Good:
- Nice Goat
- Nice Music
- Graphics are not bad

Neutral
- Medium length (33 levels)
- Little diversity in traps, but the ones that are there are explored in many various combinations.

Not good
- Game lags despite little movement on screen. A game that has fewer simultaneously moving objects then a 1985 Mario game should not lag on an otherwise well performing i7 computer released in 2015. The lag is often deadly.
- No plot. No intro and no ending.
- Waiting for platforms is boring. Level 27 is the biggest culprit, if you fail you must wait 10 seconds or so before you can try again.
- Some hit detection problems, sometimes goat will land on very edge and then fall, makes it too difficult to jump at max distance and it is sort of luck.

More like I Wanna Be The Goat. Now seriously, although the game is interesting and actually pretty good, it's not really my cup of tes, hence the average score.
