The backgrounds were beautiful, I liked the music, and the message was deep.
There's a lack of any actual challenge in a game about persistence, choppy grammar here and there in a story based game, and the major mechanic mostly hurts not because of failure but because the way to achieve progress is boring. The actual mechanics in the game itself didn't make me feel like I was stretching myself or trying to valiantly keep going in the face of hardship, is was falling off the ledge and letting the magic wish fairy fix this obviously broken map.
Don't give me video telling me that hardship is hard and expect me to thank you for this wonderful and interactive experience. Polish up those platforming elements, build me a challenge I can be proud of overcoming, and make me FEEL that sting of having to start over from the bottom of the mountain again.
It's a good start, now follow your game's own advice and build a goddamn masterpiece out of what you've already shown us you can do.
I know this game is not supposed to be about gameplay but about the message, but I would still appreciate a little more effort put into the gameplay part.
This game... it made Me feel strong! wWhen I failed i kept trying and trying, nothing sttoped me!
