Reviews for "Con-Quest! Poké-con (Version 0.02)"

Is there a way of getting money other then fighting Poke-con cuz I cannot beat the Barrier Guardian(927HP)
Me(140HP)

CuddlePitGames responds:

If the barrier guardian is too powerful for you at the moment your best bet is to fight the "Echo of Pikachu" cosplayers which show up in the tall grass after you save Phoebe.

You can also use the spooky coins you get from them to buy stickers from the gachpon mechine that is located outside. This will help power you up.

Thanks for playing!

For those who wish to get the (Bulbasaur) summons easily I found casting the spell then running away allowing you to get the summons faster *Make sure to have enough $ to rebuy mana*
- Overall the game was very fun, there is a lot of potential in this game so I say keep going and make this game amazing!

CuddlePitGames responds:

Hopefully we'll be going from Very Fun to Amazing sooner than later! It's thanks to the feedback and suggestions from the community and our Patrons!

We're really glad you liked it and we hope you stick around for upcoming versions and episodes!

This is a very great game and I cant wait for the future updates. You have severely improved the combat and sticker collection and managed to add even more fun than last time.

That being said there was a small error I encountered after turning in Ivy's summoning quest. When the receptionist walked in the text became extremely jumbled and included backwards letters. It also caused the pickachu cosplayers scene to play and not Ivy's. this however did not seem to damage the est of the game, so could possibly just be a scripting error.

Last but not least, can anything be done to the "hidden" cosplayers? No combination of attacks seems to tame them. It might not be something in this version, but if it is possible im asking politly for a hint. Keep up the good work keep making awesome content.

CuddlePitGames responds:

You're not the first one to have run into the jumbled text glitch! We're currently looking into it but we've not been able to repeatedly and reliably duplicate it. If you could give us some detail as to what happened right before the jumbled text and perhaps a means of reproducing the glitch if you find one, it would help us out immensely!

At the moment, though, no the hidden cosplayers are just a small bonus based on some old art assets we didn't want to go to waste.

We plan on keeping up the work and the newgrounds community and our Patrons have been helpful enough to facilitate our pumping out content for hopefully a long time to come!

Thanks again!

This game is SO good. I really liked the version you put up before, and I knew you would update the game, but I didn't expect it to be done this well. I can't wait for the next version! :D

The combat is very good, but the grass spell feels a bit OP. The art is as great as before and I like the idea of the extra quests for the girls. Nice touch with the super secret fight too.

BTW is there an animated version of the Bulbasaur reward or is that in the next update?

CuddlePitGames responds:

Thanks for all the praise really means a lot!

I agree that the grass spell is way too strong against high HP targets. It's going to be reworked in the next update.

And yes there is an animated version of the Bulbasaur reward image. It can be unlocked by finishing her second hidden quest.

Thank you so much for playing!

Great game, love the art, characters, just everything, its really polished and easy to play! however:

Summoning ivy 10 times is very demanding as you can only call on her once per battle, compared to pikachu who you could spam several times in a single battle.

When I fought ivy and she infected by with her moth swarm, when you go to use ignite scissors, it will cleanse the effect, but if you go to use the ignite scissors to consume it and deal heavy magic damage, it instead just keeps cleansing the effect and thats all.

After I finally got ivy in 10 encounters (simply use swarm 1st time in a fight, then run and start a new one) i went to the place with ivy and the shop, vanilla talked about switching with the receptionist before the chat just started to type gibberish, 'sdpljmadpoajkdaopdkpaok apkdap akdpoadka apoadkpak' and the audio used for chat going along went berserk and was pretty loud, I thought it was funny AF like, but yeah, just a big fix for you if you don't know already.

CuddlePitGames responds:

Hmn. Perhaps there's something weird with the reception's character entirely. That's interesting. I'm going to speed and mainline this one along to DevTrav.

Thanks! We're glad you liked it! Thanks for giving us your feedback!
