yo nice try but need to work on it more. since there are so many good games on newgrounds, you need to really get something excellent in order to get a high score.

Well, for a beginner this wasnt bad.
It still needs some work, but I think you could make pretty good games with some practice. The only thing I really missed was something like an explosion when you die, not just the game over screen. But anyway, nice attempt.

I agree with HunterofFire. Seems 2 me u copied Defender, an old arcade game. The ties are easy to shot down and they don't shot back. On Windows XP hitting the shift key five times gives u StickyKeys, it lets u use the SHIFT,CTRL,ALT, or Windows Logo keys by pressing one key at a time. U should change the fireing key.

Alright score, but alright is good!
Here are some things you could do.
1. Stop calling it a Parody. Call it a Game.
2. Make different levels.
3. Make a boss at the end of each level.
4. Add a new background with every level.
5. Give us more lives!
6. Make the shots start at the plane. I died because this enemy was stuck inbetween me and where my shots started.
7. Make the ship constantly moving so that we only have to move up/down.
