This was actually pretty good for 72 accumulated hours. Excellent controls, especially when using a controller. The slowdowns are acceptable, nothing too gamebreaking, though the one major nitpick is the sound test, which you play one song and its stuck to it unless you exit the options menu. Also if you plan to finish this game I hope each stage doesn't last this long.

I unquestionably want to see this turn into a full game, with a full on exe format allowing for always smooth and stable performance not reliant on flash.
The game itself is pretty solid, reminiscing of good platforming days and kept making me think more of Rocket Knight Adventures than Contra (although traces of it can be seen as well).
You sir deserve all my five stars.
Now this is what I expect from Newgrounds.

Im extremely impressed that it only took you 72 hours to make this and the gameplay is comfortable and familiar. The only thing in my opinion is that it is extremely easy to win. You just kind of move along. Hence "Theres nothing to it."
