Reviews for "Idle Sword"

Super fun game I played it for 2 or 3 hours, but super fun. My complaints are the mirror after you beat the wizard. When i beat the wizard I was so happy, but i used the mirror and it reset my stuff and I just lost it because there was no way in hell I'm playing 3 more hours to complete it. Please for the love of god make the mirror end the game or do a flash back OR SOMETHING!!! This game would be so fun if it had an ending.

My second complaint is the final boss is weaker then the normal enemies. The Dragons are harder to beat. Make the game more challenging.

And my third complaint is the lack of weapons like add a dragon's bow or dragon's ring or anything. I mean come on there are not many weapons for a game where the point of the game is to get armored up, level up, and get weapons, then you need to beat the "final" boss and "win" the game, but if you wanna do that you need to kill people and take loot and kill people and take loot and kill people and take loot I mean come on, that's all you really do in the game and what happens when you kill the final boss what happens?!? You start the game over and guess what! Kill people and take loot. Just make the game have more stuff do to.

My last complaint is when you reset after looking in the mirror, i already talked about it but only one thing i didn't say... WHY NO FUCKING DIFFERENT LEVELS OR FUCKING ENEMIES!?!?!?!? Sorry I had to get that out.

Haha no problem :) Just play a couple floors more after using the mirror. You'll notice something new, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm taking note of that Dragon Ring!
Thanks for the feedback!

good idle game. There is an exploit; if you open inventory, all battle freeze and you can click-heal all your characters.

Thanks! I just fixed the exploit in the update and more!

Loved it, right up my alleyway with it's style of play. A little cheaty with the ability to heal with clicks while the inventory screen is open and the game is effectively paused. Also saving up some money and unlocking a dungeon prematurely lets you go in and clear a floor for some equips, then go back to a lower level dungeon and clear it with no problems.

pretty decent game, though mirror could do with allowing you to keep the items, also the balancing for the resets is way off.

Second reset alone makes the game impossible to really do much progress with. All the enemies go way up in strength while your characters who rely almost exclusively on items for their power rather than the levels get reset back to nothing.

The items that you then get are back to the base low levels meaning the best you can hope for is going back to marginal levels of your power in the pre-reset levels due to enemies becoming far to hard for you to kill way before you get anywhere near the level of items you need to kill them

Forcing the mirror into my inventory and not allowing me to sell/destroy it sucks. It basically goes BOOM and it's all reset. That's really... dumb.

The main/first character has a constant issue of being "stuck" over loot while the rest of the team goes on to fight. He just stands there and I have to remove the Looter's Ring so he'll begin moving again and put it back on, making him move back and finally loot items.

Does dungeons have ends? I could barely reach level 15 in any given dungeon before it just became too much. Ranged enemies shooting projectiles every 0.5 seconds (and 3+ appear) is the biggest bane of gameplay. They alone can utterly destroy my group, while hard-hitting melee combat is manageable to some degree. My biggest beef with random dungeon layout is right at the start of a new level, 8+ enemies come from every direction and it becomes a huge free-for-all. Also, paladins suck dick with their huge self healing ability.

Opening inventory (pauses game) allows me to click on the characters and heal them to full, and when their health reaches full it will unpause the game. Basically as long as I can click on the inventory with a clear view of my character in need of health, I can click-heal them to full.

Some item balancing is way out of whack. Orcish swords with +50% lifesteal and that scythe with +100% lifesteal, you can't beat them, unless there are better weapons with additional lifesteal on it. Wizard hat having that +15% heal every 2 seconds is OP, so while my warrior is sporting DRAGON ARMOR with a DRAGON SHIELD ready to take on the enemy... he has a wizard hat. Because it heals so damn much. The rare +5% heal everyone ring is also pretty overpowered and coveted.

Screen shake can be disabled in the options, yeah that's great, but the screen still moves constantly when the characters are moving and fighting. Especially when the ranger flees or the warrior runs off to loot something.

Overall, I like this game. I just wish there was something more to the ending other than "HERE TAKE THIS ITEM AND GET SCREWED".

Thanks for the interesting feedback! I'll definitely try some rebalancing! Bug fixes also coming on the next update. Cheers!
