Reviews for "Bear in Super Action Adventure"

A simple but enjoyable game about a bear who's cockier than Sonic, with a jetpack, slaughtering his way through an enormous horde of bugs and blobs. Yes. Just. Yes.
Voice-acting was pretty damn good, especially for a flash game, and the little quotes during action just added to the lightning-quick gameplay and havoc. Upgrades just made it all complete. Very well done.

max all stats and i still cant get general toaster.. but yea needs more levels

The exclamations during game play got old before the end of level 1. So imagine how awful it was through 20 rounds. And the game play seemed like a cop out. Collecting stars in a game like this is silly. There was no incentive to do anything else. So there was not reason to take any risks. Once a bullet barrage filled the screen, just fly to the right and avoid them as long as you get the stars. IT is almost as if the designer of this game didn't want to bother trying to come up with a merit based system for awarding stars so he too the easy way out to devote more time on lame cut scenes and sound bytes.

Too short and too easy. Even before grinding I was never in any danger of dying and when I did grind it didn't take long enough that it even felt like grinding. I haven't played this game long at all and I'm already maxed out.

The enemies were decently varied in look, even with the limited attack patterns possible. Visuals were pretty crisp, I never had problems figuring out what was going on. Voice acting wasn't grating for me... it was silly but that was the point. This game does seem to be voiced by just one person if the credits were correct so it could be a highlight reel for their resume; I don't really care about that. The voices were at least distinct between the bear and the bunny. The game has a personality, but doesn't take itself too seriously. The fourth-wall breaking was never so egregious to me that it felt like pandering for laughs.

@Sharpnova - The bear just sounds like a couple of guys from Queens, to me. Not sure what you were trying to say but it's probably more offensive to tell people how they'd feel about what you were going to write than even what you were going to write. Review the game, not other hypothetical players.

the voice acting was unbearable.

the main char? i can't say what he sounded like without being labeled a couple times by political correct sheep.

the game itself is fun but the fact that i couldn't disable voices alone ruined it.
