Excellent, simply excellent. You have created a truly simple yet effectively heart-warming story. The way you created a sense of empathy for the protagonist is brilliant. Great narrative, use of shots and background music. Well done!
interesting concept, although its been overdone the past few years... if you had a deeper story behind it like "he steals because he doesn't have family to take care of him but he tries to do good to balance his karma", then it would definitely be something worth continuing... either way its an amazing animation and ill be watching you from now on to see if you pursue this further or not. Good luck on future projects.
This is truly worth watching. I love your style, it kind of reminded me of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and older cartoon shows like that. The soundtrack made my heart melt. The only thing that kinda bothered me is that I feel that the dog had no reason to return to the guy, but then again I don't know how I would've made it better. I'm really interested what you will do in the future and I'm looking forward to it.

my only complaint is the sound was weird. real quiet in action sequences with weird music.. almost felt like there was an ambient track or something that accidentally got omitted. or more like a raw sound effects track.
great art and animation and a nice story. though if those kids were really going to kill that dog then some kind of justice should have occurred not to mention.. something addressing that they were serial killers in the making which is pretty dark considering the overall tone.
