I love this kind of game. Try and get somewhere by upgrading slowly. But this game doesn't do it very well. As others have said... The hit detector isn't great sometimes. Can register a hit when there's nothing around. The blinking after a hit should mean invulnerability, that way you don't hit several objects grouped too close together to be able to dodge and die. The field of view is terrible and needs to be way bigger. The radar is ineffectual because of the field of view as well. Work on those and this will be a really fun game!

innersloth responds:

Well, we fixed some of this. Particularly turning for better dodging and the invincibility frames. Sadly, the field of view is kind of limited by the game being designed to eventually be on phone screens... But we did also upgrade the field on the last radar to help separate it from the second radar.

Pretty good. Hit detection radius is too large. Progression was very slow with nothing to really shake up the monotony. I stopped playing after I hit the core.

The hit detection is bad sometimes i would get hit even if i did not touch anything. why make it blink after i get hit if i am not invincible during the blinking period just makes the experience hard, and why have a turbo boost at the star if using it mean you can also get hit? not using it makes more sense because then i at least have a chance of dodging. radar does not work makes the money i put in just a waste, i tried re starting the game many times and fully upgraded the radar but did not work. and the objects are very hard to avoid because i can't see i coming.

Loved the game... reminded me of some really old style flash games... but for some whatever reason the music stopped playing at around half of it... here's my experience of it:

A fun little game to kill time. The graphics and audio are charming, but that's to be expected from Puffballs. The core concept is brilliant, touching upon a topic many a child has dreamed about. The game runs very smoothly, and upgrades seem consistent, which is a hard thing to achieve in this type of game. The game CAN become a bit of a grind once you hit the mantle, and this can hurt it's playability in some aspects. However, even with this slight delay, you did an excellent job at making the player want to keep going. The little animation of the kid filling the hole, all the while cursing your tenacity is a great touch, and I found myself having to tear myself away. A great game with room for more.
