Reviews for "Naut Land"

I enjoyed playing it. The rotating map thing was cool. It was different and added an element of challenge that could get the player in trouble if not timed correctly with moving enemies. Rotating one way versus another, could make the map harder or easier challenge to complete at times.

I thought the character's objective of saving enough to buy something was an analogy for this game. At times it felt it took work, working your way from one side to another, only to have to turn around and work to the other. Many times it required patience. These are all things people have to do to earn money or save money. Work and be patient at times. I don't know if that was intentional but I thought that challenge throughout it matched the character;s story well.

Would like to have heard a wider variety of music tracks.

The total length of game felt appropriate for game of this kind.

The variety of enemies was good but maybe add more variety of them in sequel. Maybe some you can jump on or throw.

Most challenging parts for me were where you have to run and squeeze between more then one moving block because of the precision needed in controlling character as not to get them too close to get clipped by the blocks.

This game is helpful and fun if you need to warm up on your platformer skills.

naturally one is able to jump on a goomba to kill it

Thanks for playing!

Goombas WITHOUT goomba stompin'?!

JackAstral responds:

Ahaha thanks for playing and reviewing!

Cute graphics, cool music, I like the gravity shift mechanic, and with some more effort this could be a really cool game. As it stands, moving around is cumbersome since the character is so slow, the transition between the planet sides is annoying, the large goomba you can't jump over is often used just to pad out a level, and overall just annoying and not very fun to play.

JackAstral responds:

Okay, thanks for giving it a go anyway!
