It works.
It doesn't have any bugs.
But it's annoying as al heck that knockback amount seems completely random. The music gets old fast, too, and the backgrounds -and really the fights themselves- aren't that interesting to look at.
More could be done with it.
Like, for starters, adding color to the second set of items (I thought they were empty slots in the stores that would be added later for the longest time).
Adding in something to the starting pull -like a timed second-click for a better landing (increased stability), or adding in slight tactical element of angling the top when its sent out to have it move a certain way (hit from behind to try to knock opponent out faster, but decrease stability).
Having "sets" - effects that are given when combining different blades with different tops, like higher knockback or a stability bonus- would add to the rather empty tactics of "play until you get $5000, buy most expensive item. lay until you get $5000, buy most expensive item. Win game"
Adding "weight" to the game might be interesting, which would decrease how much your top moved but also decreased how much it could be pushed around (decreased likelihood of being knocked out f the ring) would be interesting.
Overall, it's a decent starter game, but blade and repetitive.
It holds some promise, though, as here it a lot that can be done with it.
