Reviews for "A Koopa's Revenge 2"

Nice game with many features and nostaligia. Great work with all elements. I only wished sometimes that the controls were better resonsive. The wall climbing is very hard to execute. Otherwise a thumb up from me :)

Lambtaco responds:

Sounds like you've got a bit of control lag. The number one thing I can suggest to fix it is changing the backgrounds to "still" or "none" on the pause menu. If that doesn't help, you can also change the quality to low (which uglies up the game a ton) and close any programs that may be using a lot of CPU. And the game runs better on my site, I think because the page isn't as busy as NG, but that requires starting a new file :(

Thanks for reviewing.

This Took me forevery

On lv 3-1 when you pass the first halfway flag I can't seem to get in the pipe at the end. I did kill everything and have the first two silver coins with the swimming power up and fire power. Other then that everything so far has been good and I like all the power ups in it.

Lambtaco responds:

Smack the invisible blocks beneath the entrance to the pipe.

In level 1-4 there is a vine. I can't see my turtle beyond the vine. Is it suppose to be a bonus level? It doesn't show it. overall, great game.

Lambtaco responds:

Thanks. You're the second person to mention that. I'l have to tweak it a bit. For now you can climb down the vine a bit, then climb back up.

EDIT: I've identified the bug. When using control schemes that don't see the arrow keys for movement this will happen. Until I get it updted, just press the up key and it should work.

Further Edit: It's updated now. If the menu says v1.03 everything should work.

Terrible controls make this game completely unplayable. you'd think with all the time you had to make this that it would be good. It looks good, but the controls are just sloppy.

Lambtaco responds:

In the future, when complaining about controls, could you please explain in detail? I know it's hard through text, but "sloppy" isn't enough to go on. The controls are precise as hell for me, and a ton of other people found he game playable.

Was it control lag? That's a known issue with Flash, and I think AS2 in particular. If you kept running for a second after releasing a key, you can turn down the quality, and turn off the backgrounds from the pause menu. That usually eliminates enough lag to fix the issue.
