Well I'm really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy working on this, but the sound, and the visuals are excellent, and the storyline is ambiguous enough to leave you wondering, but there's a decent amount to chew on. Looking forward to your next project, keep experimenting!
I like the low-res graphics, the ambient background music and shuffling sound when you walk... but the plot's lost on me. I ran out into the desert chasing some other moving critter and then, it was just desert everywhere... some kind of guide would've been neat. Also an intro that tells you what to do. I was expecting the introductory text to transition away, but apparently you had to click it! Still, seems like a potentially fun game, just a bit confusing if you're not willing to take time to introduce yourself.

Surprisingly involving and immersive for something with such "abstract" graphics and not-quite-a-plot. Could have been something really special if there'd been sufficient motivation to develop it.
The use of sound was excellent, without that it wouldn't have worked at all.
I'll say that I'm glad you tried something different. The graphics and gameplay were quite good, at least they fit what you were going for; I especially loved the way the buildings changed with perspective in the "speeding cars" scene. Still, at the end I was left feeling kind of confused and disappointed, as I wasn't sure what the POINT of it all was...
