With a little more work this could have been epic. Nice game if you like holding down+over while spamming X and C constantly.

Neat looking game, but the gameplay still needs a lot of polish.
Example 1: I don't get how the wave rating is calculated... I ALWAYS get "D" (which sounds pretty bad if you ask me) and on one wave I got "A+" even though i played exactly the same as any of the other waves.
Example 2: There is no practical way to avoid damage in the later stages when the dodging riflemen start appearing. The fire rate and bullet speed is way to high. the screen is literally filled with bullets.
Example 3: The healing upgrade was pretty useless, since i never had enough potions to even get near 100%. One possible extra potion per wave is pretty is pretty insufficient to compensate for the health drain per wave, which increased with every wave.
I ended up just mashing jump and attack beacause that worked best to get through the stage with minimum health reduction.
The graphics and the general art style is great though!
There seems to be a serious number of lag inducing bugs in the game. While the clock 'feature' has been mentioned, I have also noticed that the longer I play, the slower the game get. However, when I die and the same level reload, it becomes smooth again.
I think this is due to you not removing the entities and instead just making the invisible until the player dies. This really should be looked at as it is wasting resources and making the game close to unplayable if you try and go for a no death run. This same bug also causes the control input to begins to lag after some time as more and more power needs to go to hiding dead enemies.
Would be a good game, but the potions are WAY too expensive considering they only give 20% health each. Just a mediocre brawler game with good music. Average score.
I don´t like the gameplay itself very much but i fucking need the Soundtrack for download! :O
