Controls are tight, animation is smooth, and the audio is good in quality. Only thing that kept me from a 5 was that the controls were too odd-fitting fore me to get used too. Could use them fine - just to not being comfort. Also good props for the progression-esk RPG elements as well.

This game is fun. And already has several fans.
Wish I could assign my own buttons. Found walking to the merchant tedious, why not just hit space and be done with it?
Sprites are well done, enjoyed enemy animation as they rotated their arm to get a bead. Liked the starling, a little nod to Mozart's history. Powerups are OK, other than the birdseed, its pretty much what one would expect. Midi music fits theme is well chosen. I just found this beat-em-up needed more enemy types early on to keep me from getting bored.
The one problem I had with the game is that it lacked a good rating system. I only managed to pull either A's or D's and I'm not sure what the criteria is to get a better grade. It would also have been great if the grading system was rewarding; for example, depending on your grade, you could get small health restoration or a bigger coin bonus for the next fight. Besides that the game was very fun.
