Really poignant game. I have to say that I'm rather biased toward the subject matter but I thought it was conveyed excellently. It's nice to see some developers willing to deal with uncomfortable issues. Unlike other reviewers, I quite liked the lack of options in the endings. When dealing with something like this IRL, there really are only a few choices (let it consume you, revenge or freedom) and the gameplay reflects this. Very emotional.

It could do with more polish, but overall it's really great. I would add a trigger warning in the comment box though. While I was pretty sure what the game was about based on the title, some people could become quite distressed by it.

The girl may want to get her money back for that movie. It was just terrible. The plot was all over the place and the actors just didn't seem to care. And you could see the zipper on the monster's costume the whole time.

In all seriousness, excellent story and excellent message. The father is very creepy looking though. I assume that was intentional to drive home the extent of the trauma.

Wonderfully well done,I cried when I got the up stairs endings because...sigh...this game has a lot of meaning to me, and just the way its laid out, it does follow you...it follows you for a long time, and really there are only a few things you can do to come to terms with it. Thank you for making this game. It's a good reminder that some people are facing demons every day of their lives, and manage to put on strong faces, but sometimes it gets too much.

wow. that was awesome, it would be even more cool if there were more choices maybe and if there was a longer story or something like that. this is cool for a game online. i hope you make more of these type of games :D
