The sfx have both a retro and comedy feel to it, nice choice.
I see the playtime was made shorter than the original intent; IMHO, if there's no other new power-ups appearing later that would affect gameplay, the length is fine as it is. Make it any longer and this will start to stray from the "chaotic short arcade fun" into "mindless button smasher" category. But again it's just my opinion.
4 stars for the good laughs and fun.
