Reviews for "Return to Tolagal"

i hate the game a bit but i cant beat the first floor on not in the tutorial and i die all the time i want and the moves are too slow

Awesome game, completed it 7 times by now, died much more.

My suggestions:
1. Speed upgrade is overpowered, especially in conjunction with warhammer.
I would suggest to limit players choice by excluding stat he leveled up last time.
Maybe nerf warhammer as well - make stun probability less than 100% or limit AP deduction to max 1 AP per target per turn.
2. Increase probability of encountering mimic chests. I found only one by now, and it killed me. I am seeking for vengeance, but haven't encountered one yet.
3. Add local scoreboard.

really fun game!!!! bringing back the orginal gaming and its just so much fun :)

Fun, but *please give me a mute button*. I liked everything else. A room with multiple necromancers is pretty broken at level 2 though. I can't get through their minions to attack them before I'm fireballed to death. Also it seemed like vampiric weapons were the only real option. I couldn't get anywhere without the lifesteal.

No major complaints here except for the lack of a mute button. I don't expect fantastic background music from a simple flash game like this, but I do expect the ability to mute it and play my own. Thanks for the upload, I enjoyed it.

At first it seemed impossible, but once you figure out how to play smart, you should be able to beat it. It's short enough that starting all over after death isn't a big issue, and you'll get enough loot that you should be able to maximize pretty well. Beating the necromancers in the first few dungeons seems to depend on if you can get an upgraded (as in 4 hit reduction) shield in time. Without it, you can't block the fireballs well, and your chances of beating them are small. With it an dyou just have to remember to not activate them and flee the room. One of them always tries to go around, so while the minions are clawing at the metal doors, which don't die quickly, you can deal with the other one.

Hammer > Axe > Swords. The -1 AP to enemies is killer. Never go too enemies, let them come to you, particularly in a hallway where it's one on one. I think that's the only way to beat the orc level, because even with enhanced speed and a Vampiric hammer that gave me +4 per power hit, I almost died a few times.

The troll level was disappointing, especially the last stage for me, which was one room, a hall way, an one room with one enemy. You can completely prevent them from hitting if you use a power hit from a hammer too.

It's a great start to a game, I think you could add a few character classes, some more weapon effects, and a few more stages at the end.
