Reviews for "Toons These Days: Ep 23"

I liked that you told me all about it before I ever had to watch an episode. I DO have a life. Thank you.

Wow that's a lot of butt hurt fans lol. Personally I think it was right on the mark. I stopped watching it after the first few episodes just because that's ALL they do. Digimon was pretty much as bad and I won't rip on Pokemon, but yeah... only SO much of Pikachu I could handle before that got old... Games are fun, shows are not. Artwork is amazing, story line blows.

Animes shouldn't last that long unless there is something new they can do with them. I don't mean add stuff or a new character, I mean TOTAL plot development. Solve a problem, new one comes up, then use a DIFFERENT method to get past it. Good review. 10/5 from me (if I could).

I can see why you think the show is sucky, but the card games are fun to watch sometimes.

I'm not rating on the opinion in the video. The video was funny and well done, as usual. But Yu-Gi-Oh! was way better than most televised anime. Like, Dragonball Z, for example. At least as far as I watched. Way better writing and not as repetitive as this video suggests. That was the point. The duelists always had to invent new, lateral ways to get out of a tough spot and win. And it was cool that people settled their problems by dueling, rather than using physical strength and inexplicable magic powers to defeat their opponents. It was about strategy and friendship, rather than poor jokes and adolescent rage. Who didn't wish duel monsters was real when they were a kid? I get that the character is supposed to be opinionated, though, and I always enjoy your cartoons.

I thought you gi oh was decent before but Conroy has a point
