This isn't a Metroidvania style game, it's just a Metroid style game. If it had RPG elements, then it would be Metroidvania. Anyway, I love this game to death

What a wonderful revisiting of the games of old! the whole time I was playing this, I had the most wonderful sense of nostalgia. Games like this used to be as much a part of family road trips for me as the car was. Hours would go by with fun little adventures like this on that gloriously green-screened titan of a handheld. 5 stars all around good sir. I loved the hidden secrets and boss! So much is dumbed down nowadays in games, that many newcomers really don't understand that the object of a video game was never intended to be turn it on and win to win. You were supposed to be challenged in your game to see if you COULD win. This little game truly captures the fantastic charm that is so lost nowadays. Well done!!!!
