Well, i guess it was decent. mostly random stuff, but i have come to expect that from the website, though. so, 2.5 stars.
Is it because they are all canadians?
Scott Pilgrim series is a great one. I don't know how far you went, but I found it really good. Sure, the first issues may present more the characters in a stereotypical way, without any depth, but as the serie progress you get to see them in a more profound way, Scott in particular.
As for your animation, it was ok. You reused the same face over and over, I get your point, Bryan Lee O'Malley draws the same face over and over, but I'm not sure I agree with you. It's kind of an unique blend of manga and western comics. So while they do look somehow alike, it's not really the same.
Maybe you simply didn't like the concept of the serie? Anyway, that's fine, everyone entitled to their own opinions.
Well hum... As I see, it's supposed to be a joke. Welp. I didn't find it funny. Maybe because of the fact that it could not be considered as a parody because it wasn't exaggerating anything from the movie at all. Also... Ok, screw it, There was NO joke at all. Only little mockery about the movies that are not true (in my opinion).
The animation was fluid but cheap. Considering it was mainly moving part of pictures instead of newer picture after picture.
The voice acting was supposed to be ridiculous but it was just stoopid and poorly made.
The music wasn't placed well. It was just random and unoriginal.
In overall, if the movie sucked, maybe it would have been worth moar stars.
