Some critique;
You need to click on the restart button. This breaks flow as there is no other use for the mouse in the whole experience. Make it so you can hit 'Space" or something to get back into the game.
There is no reason the ship needs to be in the center of the screen. Nothing happens behind the ship of import. Move it back a little or give vertical control.
You crash before you find out how to control the ship. so i give it a 3/5 because no game should give you limited lives, but kill you before telling you how to move. i was franticically using my mouse and the keyboard and by the time i used the arrows, i hit the wall. after the first wall, it tells you to use the arrows...
I felt that the buttons for resetting after death faded in too slowly.
Players effectively had 6 lives assuming they where able to get all the flowers from area 1. Otherwise earning additional lives was not practical.
I would have liked to have some control of the ships vertical position on screen or for the ship to sit lower down on the screen.
Art is good and clear, I had no problems telling foreground objects from the background, the animation was also smooth during game-play.
A good effort that is held back by a few balancing flaws.
Graphics look OK. Game play-wise, it was nothing more than a vertical scrolling shooter, but without the shooting part. I got to the level where the missiles follow you (4 I think) and stopped playing. Started feeling tedious.
pretty good, but the guns are definitely very frustrating seems like theres a 50/50 chance of them killing you and theres really no way i could find of dodging their shots. kinda ruined it.
