Reviews for "BLOOM"

Great looking game.
I did find that its a little slow, and on the whole, losing a life doesn't really mean much. If you were to put check points in the game, letting you start from the last check point you reached vs. restarting at the bottom every time, I think it would improve the game a lot.
also, I think this game would be a lot better with a high score system.

It's a very pretty game.And goes with the feel with the game.But try to add a little more detail to what's going on.Because I don't get why you're in a spaceship,dodging buildings,Otherwise though,it was very good! :)

I enjoyed the atmosphere of it, the music and artwork contributed very well to the overall aesthetic of the whole thing. The poses of the people with flowers growing out of them were nice, they looked as if they had resigned themselves to their fate and I liked those parts of it.
Beyond that, however, there was little to recommend it.
If it was a vertical flight game, it lacked the pacing, excitement and difficulty to keep you playing. It was slow, the obstacles were not that difficult to get past, and you could only move left and right, not up and down.
If you were going for a more story-driven, artsy game (which would explain slow pacing and a lack of any real difficulty) it also didn't make the grade. There was little to really explain what had happened or why your rocket was going where it was going.

Overall: I'm a bit confused as to the point of the game. It seems to be going for both a vertical-flight game with obstacle dodging, coupled with a story-based exploring game. Unfortunately, neither really worked well enough. It's very pretty, though.

atmospheric and groovy for the first minute but way too little happening for my liking.

Excellent atmosphere, but too many particles. I also believe that mobility was an issue, as well as the predetermined obstacles, so maybe a random or at least part one-part other would be an excellent addition.

This would totally earn a 4.5 if you also added a story suitable to the game, as the game becomes somewhat repetitive if there is no reward to playing it further on.
