Reviews for "Deeper Sleep"

the most creepy and scariest point n click game i've ever play

12/10 worth on steam

i r8 it an 8/8

Just replayed, I keep forgetting how much I adore this series. I love how you do so much with a pixelated design, and you achieve a wonderfully spooky atmosphere with the smallest touches (for instance, the changing clown poster freaked me right out). It also always seems to keep getting darker the longer you play (though that could just be my paranoia). A lot of the horror point+click games on NG don't do it for me, but in this game the tension level is kept appropriately high (like the noises in the forest where you feel someone is out there with you), the jump scares continue to get me, and I greatly enjoy the new little twists in this one such as being (spoilers but not really?) a fumble fingers at an inopportune moment. Also throwbacks to the first game are great, because you remember the TERRIBLE things you triggered the last time you went down that hallway and it serves to make you especially nervous. I realized I never gave these games a proper review when I first played them, so I'm happy to report at this time that it definitely holds up. A+

Thanks for a review, I'm really happy you like it that much.
Make sure to follow my current project - Don't Escape: 4 Days in the Wasteland - that will be published on Steam!

This game certainly has the best puzzles out of the three! Very creepy with that Bert poster getting increasingly bloodier and then disappearing, and the extremely creepy room with the children's beds. When the library wall turned into dust it was so good, like "how the hell am I sleeping"?! It does have an underwhelming ending, but sets up really well the true finale. All-in-all, a perfect follow-up for the amazing Deep Sleep!

how do i get the last achievement
