Reviews for "The Weight"

I think you did pretty well with this. The animation was nice, although it was difficult to distinguish which character was which because they both look nearly identical. The effect near the end was nice, where you showed both outcomes at the same time, although, yet again, it was difficult to distinguish which character was which, so it was a little confusing. The music fit the video pretty well, even though I'm not into that sort of music, I still enjoyed it. I did actually feel empathy for the characters, but that may just be because I was in a similar situation once with a friend (luckily she didn't succeed before an ambulance got there). All in all, it's very good. I'd keep the art style and animation style. The music could be better, but it works pretty well anyway. I'll be keeping an eye on your stuff from now on.

its pretty gud

Man did I enjoy it.

I've seen others throw their two cents in, so being the self entitled-prick that I am, its my turn.

I think your style speaks more to the self of the watcher rather than for the animation. This does mean that we don't become committed to your characters; however it instead leads to us feeling something in ourselves. This for instance jived with our essentially eternal wish to do something over that was dear to our lives.

While I've also read that you wish to branch off an try other things with animation, being good at one particular aspect can be a greater strength than being decent at everything. The blue moody is your thing man. I don't watch Sexual Lobster to see some serious story about WWII; I watch him for something possibly insane, his specialty it seems.

any who, keep up the good work mate. goodluck

Moral of the story: Answer all your phone calls kiddoes!

This is so fitting for the song. The story was a bit confusing at first but by the end of it the story was beautifuly dark.
