Reviews for "Haven: Prelude"

The text are too sparse out between missions it takes 20 to 30 seconds each to appear. I know there is the skip option, but I like to read the story. Perhaps you can just make it so pressing the enter button shows the complete text and pressing it again to skip to the next one.

I love the way the ships fly and shoot at each other, it looks really awesome and epic. The graphics need some improving, and the design of the ship as well, to make them look more...I dunno, larger than life I guess. Look up 'spaceship size comparison' on google to see what I mean.

So when will the next game be out?

This is a pretty fun game, but the problem occurs when you do not have enough ships to finish the game. Why is there no way to expand your fleet without missions? My two last ships could not beat the hard mission at Sahrak on their own. The ships can sometimes fly clumsy too, running into one another. I will probably play again and be more cautious with my smaller ships.

i'm not sure if it's just me, but this game is just too difficult for me to understand fully. even more, because the ships look all the same, except their size differs. please, even if they might look unrealistic, make the ships rainbowcolored or something, because like this i'm only able to play on easy and buy upgrades randomly, not considering anything. but everything else is awsome about the game, if this game was awailable in just a bigger version, i'd buy it. maybe a bit more choices were a good idea. not always between two ships, but also maybe between upgradepoints and / or difficulty. it's fun to save ships, but there should be a way to buy some new ships, too, in the same way as upgrading them. and why cant be upgrade the weapons, only the armor/shield/whatever? and why do we have to pay upgrade points on repairs? the graphics were great, though, maybe too great. make the pictures simpler, so that there's more space for different stuff, maybe better controls and stuff. the story is nice and all, too, but i'd rather know, what the special abilities of ships are. all in all 3 stars, because i like the idea, but it has a lot o flaws

Nice idea but buggy

The menu in between the games use around 65% of my desktop quad core. Which is more than playing Assassin's creed 4...

When you send the ship to one position, you cannot change the target until they reach it, which is stupid if you send them the wrong place.

Selecting unit is all wrong. If you select 3 out of 4 ship, then you select everything, it deselect the 3 ship and select the other (have the programmer played any RTS game? Warcraft, Starcraft?)

And what's about using "R" in place of click or space bar. (again, have the programmer played any flash game? R is for restart. That's it.
