Very reminiscent of homeworld, a game I only recently heard about, and absolutely love. I do like the upgrade system, simple and easy to follow. The game itself forces a micromanaging act on the field to keep your ships alive until the end.
The only downside, and this is because I haven't tried it yet, is that it doesn't have a 1080p full screen option :P
VEEERY slow paced, but extremely fun if you like strategic games. Not quite 5-worthy, but it comes close.

The text are too sparse out between missions it takes 20 to 30 seconds each to appear. I know there is the skip option, but I like to read the story. Perhaps you can just make it so pressing the enter button shows the complete text and pressing it again to skip to the next one.
Fun, but needs more story. Also, a random bug: I picked up the Veloz, upgraded drive and all, by playing the campaign through the second time. I had the ship as soon as the first mission ended.
