Reviews for "Give Up"

because why make a good game when you live in a post-portal world?

OK, I'm sure the people who made this game put a lot of thought and energy into this buuuuut....
E.T. for the Atari was a frustratingly difficult game that made you repeat the same bullshit over and over and over and over and expected you to enjoy it. This is a frustratingly difficult game that makes you repeat the same crap over and over but they're aware that its frustratingly difficult.
It has an average rating for 4/5. Do I just suck?
Also, did anyone else notice that this game is basically Portal without the cool gun? I don't think it was intentional but HOLY CRAP was that distracting.

A for effort, I guess.

I encourage players to give up, not because it's difficult, but because it just isn't worth playing. I hate it when people make a flash game that's just poorly designed and upload it as "LOLDIFFICULT."

The falling platforms tend to fall from you going anywhere near them, often completely screwing you.

The double jump is extremely selective, which is to say that if you try to use it, it will just select not to work for no reason a lot of the time.

Fuck this. I'll admit...great imagination.

Good game, great idea, poor code.

I'm honestly surprised to see something so simple so poorly coded. There are countless minor bugs which as a game programmer myself, just seems dumb. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game, but I honestly could not stop thinking about the poor code behind it the entire time.
