Reviews for "Chaos Collapse"

I love the concept, bugt the game is sometimes unfairly hard because of the randomness of the earthquake. Sometimes the building falls almost instantly and sometimes you can complete the level without any trouble. Could properly have been fixed with a less blocky, more realistic building structure, but whatever.
Regardless, it was fun.

Sushin00 responds:

Thanks for the feedback. The idea of the game is "chaos" which means randomness, but it's true that isn't the funnest element of a game. Making buildings not randomly fall however would pretty much require a total redesign, seeing as how I'm relying on the faultiness of the physics engine to bring the buildings down. It could be done but not in the way you suggest.

1) Improve how damage is taken. Dying is ridiculy easy.
2) Maybe add a weapon (to go through walls, sometimes you just bash through one and break the building)
3) Dont make buildings go down fast. Make them bigger.
4) Make buildings still. THEN anymovement the character makes makes it vibrate more and more.
6) Make them like a maze. If i go this way, then i can pick this guy. BUT, if i do so it will be more difficult to go up and grab this other one. Make me try different paths.

Solve those six points (and what some more people below said) Add some nitrome-like graphics, and you get one of the best games the front page has seen (seriously, i dont understand how this idea isn't over-used)

Well, it's entertaining to say the least. But as others have pointed out, randomness pemeates it, and not necessarily in a good way.

Sorry I cant stand the music X( OK game I guess...

Paper Golem is right, the damage ratios are just weird. I can jump fifty feet through the air, and push through concrete walls, and HOLD UP A SKYSCRAPER, yet STANDING ON or TOUCHING rubble that's even slightly vibrating instagibs the rescuer. great concept, lovely style, interesting physics, but the mechanics need work.
