Reviews for "Obliterate Everything 2"

This game is great. The universe looks huge and the upgrades, ships, combat and graphics make it very compelling and fun to play. Players REALLY must read the help/tips menu. Building while pauses is essential. My one criticism is that the game needs a speed setting. Even with pause the combat is just way too fast sometimes. I ended up using cheat engine to slow the game down from time to time -- if nothing else to be able to watch some of my attack runs -- and to be able to react to changes. There is so much going on on the part of the screen that you cannot see that you miss out on a lot of the action because you are building like a madman!

Also being so fast, you miss out on the great little exchanges of fire and graphics of ships spinning out and blowing up. Enable speed hack and put it at 10-20 percent and you get a great show

Otherwise nice job!

I'm not usually a fan of these types of games, but this one's really fun, and not too difficult to learn.

Why is this game not on front page yet?
Great work, the game felt completely balanced, while the strategic design, while simple, was satisfying - not too easy, not too hard. The fact that the ships worked on their own AI was (while some hardcore RTS players may argue) a plus, since it allowed the player to focus on the real strategic part, i.e. building.
The music was also good, since it gave out the correct mood for a space game. However, at times it felt a little short (ending abruptly while I was still in a stage) and repetitive.
Overall, great job! With a little polishing this could make an all-time best, besides being in a rather well-stocked genre.

Amazing game until you start to fight Acid Ships, then the game just jumps to impossible. 1 unit > entire flight is just retarded :\
Some bugs also make it not be as amazing as some people would like:
The map blocks a part of the area where you should be able to construct.
It's impossible to know which units are stronger except by checking their costs and do a real battlefield test.
Some maps are in near 100% impossible to do [they're not impossible but it's extreme hardcore even with all the buffs bought and with all the strongest items in game], you just loose in less then 5 seconds if to your central core unit get acid'd ._.

Srs, it's amazing and awesome to play but small add-ons would make it even better.

This game is epic. I thought it was waaaay too hard. Then I realized you could pause. Now I don't have too much of a problem, beat most maps in one or two tries. This game demands good tactical "team" construction (Certain types of games demand different combinations of fighters, turrets, and other stuff), forward thinking base construction (it's the most frustrating thing in the world to be stuck in a loop, with both your fighters and the enemy fighters unable to break through to the opposing base, as there is no "delete/ sell structure" button.) and understanding of how to efficiently use your energy (I actually use mining ships a lot later in the game). The game is quite difficult but rewarding, and unique enough that I feel this is one of the best flash gaming experiences I've ever had. Only problems I have with it are the lack of a way to remove or move buildings and some of the black hole maps are definitely way too hard. The difficulty should be decreased a little bit, especially in the maps with the infected. Solid 4.5, maybe even a 4.75
