I just finished my first run through of Evangelion two weeks ago and last week watched the movie "End of Evangelion" (cus you know, the anime's ending was baloney) and this, THIS, is VERY relevant to my interests.

best ending. never got into the show. Shinji really did all that in the show. couldn't take him seriously at all. Still great animation really funny

Yeah, Shinji got on my nervs. (lol) He was always such a little bitch completely dependant on other people to give him support before he had any confidence to get beyond crying in the dark. Pretty much the lamest protagonist ever. He got better, but not by much.
This is very accurate, the hell would you want children to pilot war robots for?!
Also, Rei is Shingis clone mom............who he fondles, often.
