Reviews for "Mad Princess"

Not a bad game by any means, though there are some balancing problems.

Agiles are too overpowered- the fact that they basically ignore two of your defenses is outrageous (and you dont get access to the ball enough to make up for it). Since you can't use spikes on them, it depends on luck to hit them with the crossbow- and you often dont have walls or balls to fight them.

The last level is pretty tough too- I stopped playing at it because i lost my patience with units constantly smashing through defenses (the neverending stream of badguys is rather unfair) despite my best efforts to keep them down. Eventually, a unit (yep, you guessed it, an agile) made it by my line of bows and got me.

Still, the concept is lovely and the gameplay isn't that bad at all :) kudos.

AdventureIslands responds:

Agiles are all about quick wall trap and bomb usage.

For the last level, try starting by placing two crossbows near princess, a wall on the hill, and then keep dropping spike carpets and bombs at the attackers while making sure you have enough blood to fix the Wall when it's hp is starting to run out.

Not bad.

Great idea, however the blood graphics are not that great.
Remember, you're a firework.

Very interesting tower defense concept, very fun to play, and very nice backstory to it as well. For some reason, I have a thing for girls that are pretty and evil, and this game stroke a chord in my mind.

Lovely graphics, nice music, as always, and great usage of the LD25 theme.

I really like the gameplay concept, placing traps to keep the enemies from advancing, having to use care when choosing a place to position them, and keeping all knights from reaching the princess at all costs. It gets pretty challenging in the later waves, forcing you to think through each and every move, even when there isn't enough time, making this pretty intense.

maybe a level builder if you ever remake this? or even a twist where youre the director of the heroes?
