Reviews for "Ghost Light Part 1"

Great game!!! I enjoyed it very much and is added to my favorites! I wish the story can be more intricate and maybe less confusing.

Comacolors responds:

Thank you very much.

I had wanted to keep the story simple so that it wouldn't overshadow the relatively short game, but feel like it might have gotten a little out of control. I sort of wanted the player to feel the same sense of disorientation as the character they're playing, but this might have come out a bit too cryptic. I'll try to keep the story a little more straightforward in part two.

Honestly I don't have nothing new to say to you, this game is AWESOME!
Since I noticed that you answer to everyone I'd like to ask you about the in-game music: I liked it very much! Can you tell me who's the author and if there's some way to download it?

Comacolors responds:

Thank you so much dude, I really appreciate it.

I composed all the music for this game so I'm stoked that you like it.

It's not available anywhere right now but I had thought about making game music available somewhere if people showed an interest. I'll definitely look into that once I've implemented a few of the suggestions I've gotten on this game and posted up the lost levels. Hopefully in the next few days.

pretty fun game

Comacolors responds:

Much obliged.

Beautiful game! A tad frustrating on some of the later platforming, but A very nice game! I can't wait for the sequel!!

Comacolors responds:

Honestly this game started out as an insanely punishing meat boy type platformer, but as the story started to move to the forefront I started to tone done the difficulty because I thought it would become a distraction. I guess it does still have a bit of that original frustration though, I'll try to reign that in a bit on part two.

I'm afraid the lost levels I'll be uploading next will be even harder though, you might want to skip those if you're not into really hard platforming. The lost levels won't have any story elements so you won't be missing out on anything like that.

Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it.

Really great game, and tons of fun! One problem i had with t though was that there are times where level design is really flawed. For example, i didnt know the flaming walls were enemies and when i tried to go back to the wall in the beginning, it was impossible to get back unless i died and started over again.

Comacolors responds:

I'm glad you had a good time, but I'm bummed you had to die on purpose. I did my best to make it possible to backtrack completely through every level, which level did you have trouble with?
